Discussing “Wild” by Cheryl Strayed

For ISSUE Magazine #8: LIGHT, ISSUE editors Al Zaquan, Syazwina Saw and I set out for a park in an attempt to (poorly) mimic the setting of Cheryl Strayed’s journey on the Pacific Crest Trail as written in her memoir, Wild, which we discuss over a series of videos. Below are our group discussion video as well as my solo segment, discussing Cheryl’s identity as a lone woman in her journey and how that affected my reading. You can watch the rest of the videos as well as our introduction of the discussion here.
